Registered Massage Therapist
Va Ruiz graduated from the Registered Massage Therapy program at Vancouver Career College in 2019. During the program, she discovered her passion for helping patients in returning to an optimal level of daily life. She understands the importance of self-care and believes that a healthy lifestyle starts with proper education. She knows that there’s no “one size fits all” treatment, so she focuses on creating a treatment plan to meet the patient’s needs.
Va uses a variety of massage therapy techniques in different combinations to assess and treat her patients. These includes Swedish massage, myofascial release, trigger point release and joint mobilizations. She believes the patient comfort is very important in the healing process and staying in the patient’s tolerance level provides a better treatment.
In her spare time, Va loves trying different types of cuisine (self-professed foodie!) and enjoying outdoor activities.
