Registered Massage Therapist
Forrest Shingoose is a graduate of the Registered Massage Therapy diploma program at Langara College. Her areas of interest include pre-natal and post-natal massage. During her program, she supported several women during and after pregnancy by providing therapeutic massages to reduce muscle strain, joint swelling and stress.
Forrest believes treating symptoms is just scratching the surface when it comes to massage therapy. During your first visit, she will analyze your health history to determine the underlying cause of pain and then develop personalized treatment options based on your specific needs and health goals. She is passionate about patient education too and will teach you stretches, rehabilitative exercises and other home care tips so you can manage your symptoms independently and take control of your own health.
Dedicated to her profession, Forrest is always looking for ways to enhance her skill set. She is committed to learning more about musculoskeletal anatomy and plans to obtain a kinesiology degree in the future.
When she’s not assisting patients, Forrest uses her free time for yoga, hiking and fishing. She also enjoys cooking, travelling and curling up with a good book.
