Registered Massage Therapist
Diane graduated from the University of British Columbia with a bachelor’s degree in human kinetics. During her academic years, she was surrounded by athletes and saw how vigorous their training was. She became interested in rehabilitation for sports injuries, which exposed her to massage therapy. To further her studies, she enrolled at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy and completed its 3000-hour program in 2012.
From football players with disc herniation to elite swimmers with rotator cuff tears and tendinopathies, Diane has helped athletes with a variety of different conditions. She also has experience in treating motor vehicle-related injuries, TMJ dysfunction, headaches, pregnancy, and musculoskeletal dysfunctions. She is known for using active therapy in her treatments such as stretching, contract-relax, contractile myofascial release, and other methods like joint mobilization and trigger point release.
Whether you’re an office worker or athlete, Diane believes massage therapy is essential for a healthy lifestyle as it can prevent injury, maintain optimal physical function, and improve overall wellbeing. Diane loves embarking on the rehabilitation journey with her patients and uses a wide range of techniques based on individual needs. Her main goal is to relieve pain and educate patients on long term solutions so they can get back to living the life they love.
